The WIZ Partners are committed to making all possible efforts to reduce the project's carbon footprint. This will be carried out by:

• limiting the amount of air travel;
  
• ensuring that short-range commuting makes use of public transport whenever possible;
  
• adopting management rules that encourage the use of digital communication and information systems;
  
• publishing project documents digitally;
  
• WIZ Partners preferring email and web communications also with key stakeholders.
  

Untill now, (31/12/2012), WIZ Carbon FootPrint is 2.28 metric tons of CO2, which equates to an average of 0.97 metric tons per year.

WIZ uses the Carbon Footprint Ltd calculator to quantify the amount of greenhouse gases produced by the project's actions.
